HIP Advisory Group


HIP maintains the highest of standards of information dissemination. We strive to ensure that our education series, standards, guidelines and best practices, on our website and public communication pieces are accurate and consistent with all current Gov’t policy. To ensure that HIP is always at the leading edge of the science we maintain an Advisory Group comprised of the leading indoor air and environmental quality experts form governments, NGO’s, academia, and private industry, from across Canada.

The HIP Advisory Group meets four times a year to review all communications, research initiatives, technologies recommended, and all other aspects of HIP, to ensure the highest of standards, and consistency of message for HIP.

Goals of the HIP Advisory Group.

  • To guide HIP on all IAQ issues as they relate to Canadians
  • To ensure that HIP messaging is consistent with Gov’t Standards, Guidelines or Best Practices, and Gov’t messaging
  • To foster collaboration between Advisory Board Members on related Gov’t projects
  • To foster collaboration between Advisory Board Members, HIP members & partners, and the public
